ABOUT

IAN SAUDE

Creative director and co-founder of IAN SAUDE INC, has been working in design and fashion since 1996. Ian was born in Hollywood, CA and was raised on the California Central Coast. He attended U.C. Berkeley where he graduated with honors, studying English Literature and Classics. He has traveled extensively, spending over 14 years living and working in Asia. In addition to his own work, he has consulted extensively for other designers and companies, focusing primarily on sourcing and private label product development.

Located in the Design District area in San Luis Obispo since 2015, our showroom is a place to experience all that IAN SAUDE Interior Solutions has to offer in a single space. One of our major goals in creating the showroom was to bring more diverse, high-quality architectural resources to California’s Central Coast, and to make those same resources available to designers and builders, wherever they might be.

Therefore, this space is designed predominantly for the A&D and Building Community to source finishes and design elements and to gain inspiration. Come peruse our collections, catalogs and sample libraries to find just what you need to complete your next project.

Our studio is the perfect space for designers and builders to meet and find the finishes and other design elements to inspire young your clients.

The most successful projects start with a great team. A designer can have fantastic ideas, but the client and builder must also see their value. Designers must not only have the ability to convey their intention but also to assemble the right tradespeople, who care enough about their dream to help turn it into a reality. Our goal is to create a space to help make this happen.
